We've started Latino Alliance to be cheerleaders for Latinos who are striving to build a better life and to achieve success!  
Our own experience, and that of our family members, friends, and aquaintances, tells us that some useful information & ideas, along with a good measure of encouragement and recognition, are important to people who are trying to overcome some adversity, make progress, and achieve good things for themselves and their families. 
You can join us, and become a cheerleader for Latinos, too!

The whole idea behind an "alliance" is to join hands, group up, and root for the home team. As a member of that "home team", we each can benefit from this special partnership:

• We can provide and share some really USEFUL information & ideas about making progress, including best practices and helpful resources.
  
• We can connect and network to share, provide some input, and discover ways to help one another.
• We can all use some motivation and inspiration, and it's great to hear about Latinos who've met some challenge, achieved a level of success, or from whose example we can all learn from.
• We are at the dawn of the day when Latinos must take up the call for leadership. If this seems a little bit scary, we can offer you some best practices and insightful thoughts on leadership.
• It's time to celebrate our successes. After all, we're cheerleaders for each other and our "home team"!

That's right!
Latinos are everywhere!  
And right now, in the Greater Springfield, Mass. area (all of Hampden County), more than one out of three school-age young people are Latinos.
In the city of Springfield itself, 60% of school-age kids are Latinos.  Holyoke is 78%.  Chicopee is 29%. West Springfield is 16%.
In the city of Boston, more than 43% of youngsters are Latino.  Providence is 65%.  Hartford is 52%.  Worcester is 39%...  Learn more!  

It's important for Latinos to band together and team up a bit now because we're on the verge of inheriting to a very large extent this great country of ours.  We need to be both worthy and ready. To make our mark, we will need to make a lot of progress and achieve a lot of success, both individually and collectively, in a short amount of time.  We can be a great source of encouragement and support for each other, and can learn from one another as well.  There's a lot of excitement involved in achieving success and taking on leadership roles, but there's a lot of preparation and responsibility involved, too.  Let's get ready together!
